and active participation of electronic commerce through the use of internet,
education and advocacy.
Vision, Beliefs and Intentions
The goal of this site is to empower women in business to shape the future
of electronic commerce, solicit and build business partnerships and create
economic development within their geographical location, the internet and
economically disadvantaged areas.
This site acts after interactive agreement with women in business to
achieve solutions in the interest of key electronic commerce issues at
all levels, builds interactive participation via WWW exposure, engages
communities in promoting positive solutions to business issues through
electronic commerce, education and advocacy.
The Women in Business Cyberspace Field of Dreams site promotes electronic
commerce through its online business mail list, mentoring, networking,
directory of businesses, services, products and educational cooperatives
which builds participation both online and offline, studies key issues
which may affect the success of electronic commerce in rural communities
and enables women in business an avenue to seek positive business partnerships
and assistance in growing their individual businesses.
We believe in respect for individuals, the value of diversity, the empowerment
of the grassroots movement towards electronic commerce and the power of
interactive marketing and business partnerships with women owned businesses.
We act with trust, integrity and professionalism, operate in an open
and effective manner to meet the needs of our community, women in business
and business partners. We joined together in a centralized area within
the WWW Internet for advancement of electronic commerce and economic development
and take the initiative in seeking support for economic development of
electronic commerce for women in business. We are constantly searching
for business partners, sponsors, membership and programs available for
this purpose.
The Plan Today
This site is designed and maintained to build cohesive groups of businesses
products and business leaders to pursue economic development opportunities
for women in business. Typical development projects include value-added
business services, products and manufacturing, increased exposure and education
of women in business, and new marketing activities for their businesses.
The goal is to enhance rural economic development activities by including
women owned business development within the overall economic development
plans of rural communities.
This participative site is designed and maintained by women business
owners to assist in evaluating, developing and implementing secondary or
alternative business options. Participants discuss the changes affecting
women owned and small business enterprises today and how to evaluate the
opportunities which such changes present.
Upon listing at the online submittal to Field of Dreams directory, participants

The organizing team presents training programs and assists the organization
of rural women in business owners to develop skills for business planning
and implementing new business opportunities. Participants are better able
